A man killed two people and wounded three others before turning the gun on himself in San Antonio, Texas, on Sunday. Witnesses told police that the gunman burst into a house at about 1830 CST looking for a 24-year-old woman who he claimed had given him AIDS. When the man began firing at people inside of the house, some of the occupants escaped through windows and the back door.
The body of the gunman, who was armed with a .25-caliber semi-automatic pistol, was found in the front yard of the home. He was identified as 22-year-old Ulysses Miller. The woman that he was looking for was no longer living at the house.
One witness, a neighbor, said, "He reloaded several times. He first went in and started firing, then came outside and reloaded. Then he went inside, fired again."
One of the wounded was a 42-year-old woman who threw her body on top of the children in the house. She was reported to be in serious condition. One 28-year-old male victim was reported to also be in fair condition and the third wounded victim, a 44-year-old male, was said to be in good condition.
