Southwest United States...
ENN has received some intelligence from the southwest portion of the United States. The United States Border Patrol is now reporting that several hundred illegal immigrants are now entering the U.S. through Douglas, Arizona, instead of Nogales, Arizona, which now has steel fences and an increase in personnel guarding that area.
Shooting targets have been found hung to a fence along the U.S./Mexico border. The targets depict the head of a caucasian (officer/agent?) with many holes shot through it. This is being thought of as a warning to Border personnel.
A highly secretive anti-narcotics team has discovered that their identities may be known to drug dealers. Even though great care has been taken to keep the identities of the agents secret, highly sophisticated transmitters have been found underneath their vehicles.
Border problems continue to escalate, with threats coming from both drug dealers and those trafficking in illegal immigrants.

Unorganized Militia of US, Militia of MT, Northern Michigan Militia, Guardians of American Liberties, TX Constitutional Militia, FL State Militia, Ohio Unorganized Militia are contacting each other to volunteer to help "save the Freemen" from Federal Agents.
The arrival of additional activists in the Jordan area can only complicate an already difficult and delicate task for the FBI and local law enforcement agencies. It is all too likely that their presence will aggravate the multitude of problems facing those attempting to resolve the incident in a peaceful manner.
Intelligence sources fear that the Freemen have reviewed the Waco/Weaver videos and know the Feds M.O. They are said to be scanning the police radios, have generators, numerous weapons, and stocks of food. Allegedly, the Freemen have supporters in a number of states, and have cultivated new backers with their frequent lectures on tax protesting and Constitutional Law. They also are said to believe in separation of races and not just blind racism. The theory of the "Tri State Movement" is one of their ideas (they borrowed). They also allegedly have contact with the Bo Gritz commune.
Concerns are being raised among counter-terrorist analysts that the Freemen's objective is continue the stand-off until April 19th (anniversary of Waco, Ruby Ridge, and Oklahoma City), at which time a more open confrontation or other major event could occur.
Feel free to contact ENN/ERRI for further information on extremist organzations/operations.

A few days after the World Trade Center attack, many storage areas were clean with the renters moving large amounts of C 4 and SEMTEX to other unknown places of concealment. The same was true of the firearms.
In Tucson, the police finally decided to do walk throughs of storage area with narcotic dogs and vast amounts of drugs and ingredients were located. However most IDs used to rent the storage were faked. It makes one wonder what might have been found if the police had looked for explosives earlier ! Instead of explosives, crates and wrapping paper containing PETN and RDX residue were found but no bulk munitions.
In just a walk through of one storage center, dogs hit on 15 or so doors. AND this is one self storage center in a city that has nearly 100 such centers.
On a military base, campers and recreational vehicles were stored for personnel on TDYs and on remote assignments. Several dogs from the military dog sections made hits for drugs and explosives in vehicles on base property! Some munitions brought back from the Gulf War, Panama, and UN duties were also located in active condition.
In US domestic terrorist handbooks and militia documents they all state that weapons and explosive compounds should be stored in self storage centers. Many times maps of potential target sites are stored with the explosives.

Reportedly, Islamic extremists are portraying Rahman as a "martyr" to the world-wide Islamic cause and urging "jihad" against America and her allies. Islamic radicals are reportedly speaking out in Mosques in several countries and "fatwas" (religious orders) have allegedly been issued to exact revenge against America for its conviction and detainment of the fiery Moslem cleric.
Intelligence reports suggest that Weapons and explosives in Europe and the US are being readied for use, and that an increase in hostile message traffic has been noted in the past 48 hours. Counter-surviellance equipment and metal detectors are reported being used to safeguard certain mosques. The possibilities of demonstrations and protests in Egypt, Isreal, and the US are increased.
A threat of hijacking or hostage-taking and subsequent negotiations to trade hostages for Rahman and his followers is a possible scenario being considered by leading counter-terrorist analysts. US airports and carriers have been alerted and it is believed that they have gone to an increased level of alert.
Caution and vigilance is being urged in regard to US embassies, businesses, and government facilities, particularly those in Europe, the Mideast, and Far East. US law enforcement and intelligence gathering units should be aware of possible threats involving Islamic Centers/Personnel in their area of operations.

According to Lt. Joe Sarconi of the Denver Arson squad, the three firebombings come in the wake of more than 51others that occurred in 1995, including 33 that are believed to be gang revenge related. "It's only a matter of time...if this keeps up..that somebody is going to get killed," Lt. Sarconi told the Scripps-McClatchy News service. The Denver reports follow similar stories from several other jurisdictions, including Chicago, New York City, Dayton, OH, Rochester, NY, Los Angeles, CA, and several other locations. This trend was first reported by ENN in Oct. of 1994.

Rohypnol is used in Latin American countries as an anesthesia during surgery. American Police Beat recently had an article about "roofies". Persons under the influence of "roofies" appear to be highly intoxicated and exhibit the usual signs of intoxication (bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, no coordination, swaying, etc.) however there is no odor of an alcoholic beverage.
Locally we have had a couple of rape cases where "roofies" were used. The victim cannot remember what happened. If the "roofies" were slipped into a drink at a bar and the rapist left the bar with the victim witnesses would think the the victim was intoxicated. Abuse of rohyphnol appears to be on the increase in this area and from what I am hearing in other areas of the country as well.
Since Customs allows someone to enter the country with a 90 day supply of these prescription medicines we usually take no action against them as long as they were declared at the border (the prescription will be stamped). If they have too many pills then we will seize the pills and submit the case to our local DA for prosecution. 2 weeks ago I seized 2700 valium (along with 45 "roofies" and other drugs) and am waiting to see if the DA takes the case. The pills were going to the Tenn./Georgia border area with a street value of $4.00 to $5.00 per pill. Source: Robert Ener, 76401.1346@compuserve.com; printed with his permission.

The increase has primarily occurred in California but has also been reported in the South and Midwest, according to CDC researchers. The biggest increases in hospital E.R. visits related to the drug occurred in Phoenix, Denver, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Seattle, the agency said. California accounts for 80 percent of the total increase in admissions. but they more than doubled in Washington, Utah, Minnesota and Idaho. In some areas, "speed" has become more popular than cocaine because it is easy to find, inexpensive, and offers both a more immediate and longer effect than cocaine. Emergency Responders should use extreme caution when dealing with persons using methamphetamines, as a history of violent behavior surrounds the abuse of the drug.
Connecticut State Police seized 18 bags of a green leafy substance identified as ILLY at a traffic stop early summer. ILLY is a mixture of marajuana and or mint leaves which is usually soaked in formaldehyde and PCP (angel dust). ILLY can cause dizziness, nausea, euphoria. violent beha vior, convulsions, brain damage, hallucinations and death. The troop ers who handled the evidence developed a light headed feeling, nausea and had to leave the room. They felt the effects of the substance for at least two days. Normally ILLY is kept frozen until the time of sale. Once the substance begins to thaw it emits a strong chemical odor that has a strong negative effect on people. EXTREME CAUTION should be exercised if you suspect that you are dealing with ILLY. Officers should avoid handling, inhaling or allowing contact with their skin.

An AZ SWAT unit cost its city 850,000 dollars when they raided the wrong home in a drug search. Seems like the "narco terrorists" turned out to be a retired old man and his wife who both had mild heart attacks after being thrown to the floor and cuffed. Someone forgot to take a photo of the real home the warrant was good for. Many actual drug sellers paint the wrong house numbers on their homes, finding it makes a loophole in court.
